Eyewitness NewsPARK RIDGE -- It took a fire truck and a chain saw to do it, but animal control officers have freed a falcon stuck in a tree in northern New Jersey.
Authorities say the adult predator was found Tuesday afternoon hanging upside down high in a tree outside Park Ridge High School.
The bird's leg was tangled in rope, according to The Record (http://bit.ly/vSBorE).
An animal control officer climbed a fire truck's ladder and cut through branches to reach the bird.The falcon was taken in for evaluation.
