Eyewitness NewsPATERSON -- Authorities are trying to find the person who broke into the home of Paterson Mayor Jeffrey Jones. Jones wasn't home at the time of Monday's heist. But his 76-year-old mother-in-law was.
No one was injured.
The mayor found the rear door broken and the home ransacked.Jones tells The Record newspaper he's heartbroken his Marine Corps ring had been stolen.
