2 killed when motorcycles, vehicles collide in NJ

See it on TV? Check here. AP  Eyewitness NewsMAURICE RIVER TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Two women were killed and two men were injured in a crash on a southern New Jersey highway this weekend involving two motorcycles, two cars and a pickup truck.

State Police Sgt. Stephen Jones says the pickup was northbound on Route 347 in the Cumberland County community of Maurice River Township when it crossed over the center lane and crashed into two southbound motorcycles around 2 p.m. Saturday. One of the motorcycles was then pushed back into a car traveling behind it, and that car was then rear-ended by a second vehicle.

One motorcyclist and a passenger on the other motorcycle were killed in the crash, while the other motorcyclist was critically injured. The driver of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
