2 injured in New Jersey plane crash

  Eyewitness NewsMANVILLE, N.J. (WABC) -- Two people were injured when a small plane crashed at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Manville Thursday.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the twin-engine Beech 76 landed short of the runway.

The plane overturned and there was a fuel spill, authorities said.

The pilot and passenger were taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries isn't known.

The FAA says the cause of the crash is under investigation.
