Jewish businesses vandalized in Highland Park

  Seung Suh, Eyewitness NewsHIGHLAND PARK, New Jersey (WABC) -- A man from New Jersey arrested for vandalizing several businesses owned by Jews could face hate crime charges.

The stores are all located in Highland Park.

Windows shattered at five businesses including a pizza joint and a gift shop.

The suspect allegedly threw cement from the sidewalk at the windows.

Police arrested 52-year-old Richard Green of New Brunswick.

Police have not revealed a motive.

Green is charged with criminal mischief but the charges may be upgraded to bias crime.
