New Jersey mayor accused of hacking website

AP  Eyewitness NewsWEST NEW YORK -- FBI agents have arrested a northern New Jersey mayor on charges of hacking into a website tied to a recall group against him.

A spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office tells The Star-Ledger of Newark West New York Mayor Felix Roque and his son, Joseph, were taken into custody Thursday.

Roque is a Democrat who beat former Mayor Sal Vega in the city's nonpartisan election on May 10.

The mayor is due to appear in federal court at 1 p.m.
