Man trying to rescued dog needs rescue himself

See it on TV? Check here.   Eyewitness NewsWEEHAWKEN (WABC) -- A Good Samaritan had to be rescued after climbing down a steep Weehawken cliff to rescue a runaway dog.

The 25-year-old man chased after the dog that ran down the riverfront cliff at Boulevard East and Hudson Place.

He soon became stuck on a small ledge about 25 feet below the street.

Firefighters responded to rescued both the man and the dog.

They were treated at the scene.
