Gas prices drop 5 cents in NJ Friday morning

  Tiffany Jackson, Eyewitness NewsNEW JERSEY (WABC) -- Friday morning, the price of gas is set to drop 5 cents in New Jersey, just in time for the holiday weekend.

As of 7 a.m. the price of regular will fall to $3.59 a gallon.

Medium will drop to $3.75, and premium will cost $3.86.

The New Jersey Turnpike Authority surveys 100 gas stations along the highway, every Wednesday and Thursday to determine the state's average price. (Copyright ©2011 WABC-TV/DT. All Rights Reserved.)
