Harold Williams of Eastampton was arrested and charged on April 20, 2012, with endangering the welfare of the child and invasion of privacy. Williams followed the 15-year-old girl into the store, held a cell phone under her skirt, and photographed her.
The investigation further showed that Williams, a deliveryman for The Classic Dessert Co. of Eastampton, regularly visited New Brunswick to deliver baked goods to restaurants in the city.
Williams retired in 2008 as a corrections officer at Mid-State Correctional Facility. He is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center in North Brunswick in lieu of $75,000 bail.Williams was arrested after a security guard at the store on George Street in New Brunswick called police. Store officials held Williams until police arrived.
