A Nutley, New Jersey woman has been arrested and charged for allegedly bringing her young child to a tanning booth.
Eyewitness NewsNUTLEY, New Jersey (WABC) -- The case of a New Jersey mother accused of taking her young daughter into a tanning booth is heading to a grand jury.Prosecutors say Patricia Krentcil's 5-year-old daughter suffered first-degree burns when she was brought into a stand up tanning booth.
Krentcil, 44, is charged with second-degree child endangerment.
New Jersey law states nobody under the age of 14 is allowed to use a tanning facility. Anyone under the age of 18 needs parental consent.Krentcil has pleaded not guilty and remains free on a $2,500 cash bond.
