N.J. student accused of making school threats on Facebook

RAMAPO, New Jersey (WABC) -- A teenager from New Jersey is under arrest and facing some serious charges after police say she posted a threatening message on Facebook.

The girl is from Wyckoff and is accused of posting a threat about her school in neighboring Franklin Lakes.

There was no visible activity from outside Ramapo High School earlier, until the principal walked out to confront us about taking pictures. They said there was no story and asked Eyewitness News to leave.

A 14-year-old student allegedly used a Facebook page to call for a terror attack on the school.

After notifying the police, the school superintendent e-mailed all parents in the school district saying, there was no perceived danger.
