Eyewitness NewsWASHINGTON (WABC) -- President Barack Obama has asked former New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine to raise re-election funds from the banking industry.

It's a tall order, since banks are furious over the new financial regulations.

According to The New York Post, Corzine has been working on Obama's 2012 campaign for months. (Copyright ©2011 WABC-TV/DT. All Rights Reserved.)
